Home Inspections - What we do!

home-inspection-servicesOn The Mark Home Inspections, LLC provides quality home inspections on the outer banks and surrounding areas.

We offer inspections for a variety of needs and situations for clients buying a home, sellers preparing their home for sale, inspections of new homes under construction, and inspections required by insurance companies to determine the condition of a home for insurance coverage.

Your home may very well be the largest investment you make. Our home inspections will give you the information you need to feel confident with your purchase.

Buyer's Inspection

Buying a home can be challenging. There are many steps involved in the home buying process. The home inspection is one of the most important items on the list. Buyers need to know the condition of the home so that problem areas or potential issues can be addressed prior to purchase.

We offer thorough inspections and provide easy to follow reports with photos of issues that need to be addressed. We also are available for post inspection calls to discuss reports and answer any questions you may have.

Seller's Inspection

Now that you have decided to sell your house, you want to make sure it is in the best possible condition. Houses in good condition sell faster and bring the best prices. A seller’s inspection will give you the information you need to make sure your house ready for sale.

The inspection will identify problem areas that can be corrected before listing which saves time and possible delays in the sale process.

Construction Inspection

We offer construction progress inspections for banks and other lending institutions. The construction inspection is for lenders to be able to track the progress of a home during construction. As the builder requests payments during the building process, the lender will have an inspector go to the site and record the progress.

A written progress report will be sent to the lender who will then disperse the payments accordingly.

Insurance Inspection

Many insurance companies require an inspection of certain components or systems of a house to determine the overall condition. These systems usually include the siding, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roof. This information is used to determine the type of insurance coverage that can be provided.

We provide these inspections and can customize them according to the requirements of the company.
